We study the development of various psychological problems within the framework of the transactional model of stress. Our interest lies in both vulnerability and resilience factors when people are exposed to stress. Some of the topics we investigate include violent behaviour – from the perspective of both victims and perpetrators – and emotional problems such as depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
